My recent work continues to explore memory, relationships, and the everyday objects that hold them. Chairs, cups, jugs and tables appear as quiet carriers of story, presence, and absence. Through layering, sanding, and glazing, past marks remain visible beneath the surface, much like the fragments of memory we carry. Writing has begun to flow alongside my painting, with poems that sit in conversation with the images. This dialogue between word and image has opened new ways of making sense of life, faith, and connection. Together they form a body of work that feels personal, contemplative, and hopeful.
